ABOUT JANAKI EASWAR
Singer who became the youngest contestant to perform on The Voice Australia in 2021. On stage during the show she wore a kasavu, a traditional golden and cream fabric from India. She sang Billie Eilish 's track "Lovely" for her audition. All the judges turned their chairs around during the blind audition.
She trained in Indian classical music and Western music. She attended Jaanz Music Academy. In 2020, she released her song "Clown."
She can play violin and ukulele. She admires singers like Tori Kelly and Yebba . On The Voice, she also sang the Indian song "Maathe, a Daru Varnam in Raaga Kamaas."
Her parents are named Anoop Divakaran and Divya Ravindran. Her father is a singer while her uncle is a playback singer in South Indian movies. Her family migrated from the southern Indian state of Kerala in 2007.
On The Voice, she performed for judges Keith Urban , Jessica Mauboy , Rita Ora and Guy Sebastian .
