Singer and songwriter known for performing in the punk rock band Samiam. The band was formed in 1988 with their first show in January 1989. The band's name was inspired by Dr. Seuss 's character Sam-I-Am, from the book Green Eggs and Ham.

When he was younger, he performed in a punk rock band.

He worked in a bike shop while not touring. He also tended bar at clubs near his house. His band also worked with Atlantic Records.

The song "Factory" is about his father.

His band performed with the rock band Creed, with Scott Stapp and Mark Tremonti .
