ABOUT JASON CASTRO
Folk pop singer who was a fan favorite on the seventh season of American Idol, when he placed in fourth. He released his self-titled debut album in 2010 and it peaked at 18th on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.
He attended Texas A&M University. One of his first instruments was drums.
He was featured on the MTV reality show Cheyenne.
He married Mandy Mayhall Castro on January 2, 2010. The couple welcomed a daughter named Madeline in 2011 and their second daughter Hazel in 2015.
He was on American Idol with Ryan Seacrest .
