ABOUT JAVON RINGER

Running back who made his NFL debut in 2009 for the Tennessee Titans, after being selected in the 5th round of the 2009 NFL Draft; star running back at Michigan State, where he was a first team All-American and a Heisman Trophy candidate in 2008.

He set school and state records during his career as a running back at Chaminade-Julienne High School in Dayton, Ohio.

He scored his first NFL touchdown on September 18, 2011, on a 10-yard run against the Baltimore Ravens.

He was born to a pair of ministers, Darlene and Eugene Ringer, which greatly influenced his upbringing.

In his first few NFL seasons he was a backup to Chris Johnson .
