ABOUT JENNIE MCALPINE

English actress and stand-up comedienne who appeared on the popular British soap opera Coronation Street . She was a contestant on the seventh season of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here and won fourth place.

She placed second in a London Young Comedian of the Year competition when she was just thirteen years old. Two years later, she earned a role on Emmerdale, a popular soap opera.

She and her boyfriend, Chris Farr, opened a restaurant called Annie's in Manchester, England.

She acted with her father, mental health worker Tom McAlpine, in a community theater production when she was eight years old. She has a son named Albert.

She was inspired early in her career by comedian Peter Kay .
