ABOUT JENNIFER JAMES
Most famous for playing Geena Gregory on the ITV soap opera Coronation Street, this British actress also appeared on the BBC One crime program Dalziel and Pascoe.
In her late teens, she trained at the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama.
When not on screen, she carried out charity work for an organization called the Children's Adventure Farm Trust.
In 2001, she married her Coronation Street co-star, Lee Boardman. The couple welcomed a son in 2004 and a daughter in 2010.
She and Chris Gascoyne both became known for their roles on Coronation Street.
