ABOUT JEREMY O. HARRIS

Playwright known for his 2016 play Daddy and his 2018 play Slave Play. He is popular on Instagram and has over 190,000 followers.

He began as an actor and got his start in the play Jon at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company. He received a Master of Fine Arts in playwriting from the Yale University School of Drama in 2019.

Slave Play has been a success and was performed as an Off-Broadway production. It received 12 nominations at the 74th Tony Awards. He was the winner of the 2018 Paula Vogel Playwriting Award.

He was born to a military family and grew up in Martinsville, Virginia. He is gay. He has lived in Los Angeles and New York.
