ABOUT JERRY HARDIN

Actor best known for his role as Deep Throat on The X-Files . By the early 1990s, he had appeared in over 100 shows. He had roles on The Golden Girls , Star Trek: Voyager and Family Ties . His movie appearances include The Firm , Cujo and Blaze.

He attended Southwestern University. He later studied acting at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He performed with regional theater troupes for 12 years.

He had a small role in Miami Vice .

He was born in Dallas, Texas. His father was a rancher. In 1959, he married Diane Hardin, who was an acting coach. The couple raised two children, one of whom is Melora Hardin . His son, Shawn Hardin, worked for NBC Television as an executive.

David Duchovny also starred in The X-Files.
