She graduated with a master's degree in mathematics from King's College London. Then she went on to get a degree in biochemistry from Georgetown University.

Being a best-selling author happened quickly after releasing her first book, "Glucose Revolution: the life-changing power of balancing your blood sugar." Her second book was called, "The Glucose Goddess Method: The 4-Week Guide to Cutting Cravings, Getting Your Energy Back, and Feeling Amazing." Both books sold millions of copies worldwide.

She is from Biarritz, France, but now lives in New York City.
