NFL free safety and defensive back that was drafted by the Miami Dolphins during the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Following his rookie season, he was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team.

Prior to being drafted, he played college football at the University of Oregon . He is the sixth-highest drafted defensive back in Oregon's program history.

As a rookie, he played in 16 of 17 regular seasons that year. He also played the position of punt returner in 2021.

He is a native of the Coquitlam, Canada area. He later lived in California.

He was selected during the 2021 NFL Draft just like Trevor Lawrence .
