ABOUT JEVON MCFERRIN

Musical theatre star most well known for serving as an alternate for Alexander Hamilton in the hit Broadway musical Hamilton .

In 2005, he graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and began performing in productions of RENT, Popcorn, and Tearing Down the Walls.

Prior to joining the cast of Hamilton, he starred in Broadway's Motown and appeared in the show on tour.

His father, Bobby McFerrin , is a renowned singer known for the single "Don't Worry Be Happy." His brother, Taylor is a popular DJ.

He took over the role of Alexander Hamilton in Lin-Manuel Miranda's Hamilton after Javier Munoz was forced to take a leave of absence due to a physical injury.
