Famous for their online video game review, The Jimquisition, they have accumulated more than 700,000 YouTube subscribers. They are also well known as a blogger, video game voice actor, and reviewer for the websites Destructoid and The Escapist.

In their early adulthood, they performed a stand-up comedy act and maintained a blog called Morphine Nation. They launched their popular YouTube channel in 2006.

They are well known for the sometimes controversial content of their video game reviews and have been blunt in their criticism of the Steam Greenlight video games.

Born James Stanton, they spent their early days in London, England, and later relocated to Mississippi.

They are a contemporary of fellow English video game reviewer Ben Croshaw .
