ABOUT JIMMY COZIER
R&B singer and songwriter who first became known in the music industry for writing songs for popular artists such as Janet Jackson , Mya , and Sinead O'Connor . He signed to Clive Davis ' J Records in 2000 and released his debut single, "She's All I Got," the following year. His self-titled debut album followed soon after and reached number 15 on Billboard's R&B Albums chart.
His family encouraged him to sing in front of audiences as a child.
He co-wrote "Girlfriend/Boyfriend" for Blackstreet and Janet Jackson. He founded his own record label, Cozi Music Inc., after the dissolution of J Records. His musical fame has helped him garner over 40,000 followers on Instagram.
His father, Jimmy Cozier Sr., is a jazz musician.
He collaborated with Fay-Ann Lyons on the 2022 single "Certified Problem."
