He majored in sports management at Centenary College.
He became engaged to Polizzi in March of 2012, and she gave birth to their first child, Lorenzo Dominic LaValle, on August 26 of that year.
He grew up in East Hanover, New Jersey to parents Janis and Joe. He has siblings named Joe, James, and Janelle. He and Snooki have children, Lorenzo, Giovanna and Angelo.
