ABOUT JOANNA HIGSON
Perhaps most well known for her role as Maxine Donnelly on the television series Shameless, this British actress is also recognized for her guest spots on WPC 56 (as Vicky Hall) and Doctors (as Lindsay Holt).
Early in her career, she performed on the television sketch comedy program Scallywagga.
Her stage acting credits include roles in a New Vic Theatre production of A Taste of Honey and in a Bolton Octagon staging of Hobson's Choice.
A native of Horwich, England, she later earned a degree in performing arts from the University of Salford in Manchester.
She appeared with Lauren Drummond in two episodes of Holby City.
