Joe Absolom
ABOUT JOE ABSOLOM
English actor who became known for his roles as Matthew Rose in the BBC soap opera EastEnders and Al Large in the ITV comedy drama Doc Martin.
He began acting in 1990 at age 11 in Sun-Pat peanut butter advertisements. He made his acting debut with the film Antonia and Jane in 1991.
In 2000, he won Best Actor at The British Soap Awards.
In 2019, he married Liz Brown. He has three children.
He worked alongside Martin Kemp , Shane Richie and Ross Kemp on the soap opera EastEnders.
