ABOUT JOE THUNEY

Veteran NFL offensive lineman that was originally taken by the New England Patriots as a third round pick in the 2016 Draft. After four years in New England, he then signed a multi-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs in March 2021.

Prior to being drafted, he played college football at North Carolina State University . He actually graduated from NC State in only three years.

After making appearances in Super Bowls LI, LII and LIII as a starter for the New England Patriots, he became the first player in NFL history to start in three straight Super Bowls to begin his career. He was later named to the New England Patriots All-Dynasty Team and All-2010s Decade Team. He won a Super Bowl with the Chiefs, giving him three rings throughout his career. Over the course of his career, he has started more than 100 games in the NFL.

Growing up, he lived with his family in the Centerville, Ohio area. He is one of four siblings.

He is a former NC State collegiate athlete just like Dennis Smith Jr. and Philip Rivers .
