ABOUT JOEI DECARLO
Actress known for playing Joei Battalucci in the 2010 film Standing Ovation . The film's writer and director Stewart Raffill created the role for her. She was a member of the the Public Relations Student Society of America. She received scholarships including the Dr. Dalibor W. Kralovec Scholarship award, and the David and Florence Newman Scholarship Fund award.
She started taking voice lessons and doing recitals at the Fifth Stone Music School in Philadelphia. At eight, she switched to the Sal Dupree Music School in New Jersey.
In 2015, she graduated from the Girard Academic Music Program in Philadelphia. In 2019, she graduated Cum Laude from Temple University with a double major in adult and organizational development and strategic communication.
Her mother, Carla DiRico, worked as an ER nurse at Pennsylvania Hospital.
She costarred alongside London Clark and Devon Jordan in the film Standing Ovation.
