ABOUT JOEL BECKETT

Famous for his role as Jake Moon on the popular English soap opera EastEnders, he is also notable for his recurring role as Lee on the BBC2 mockumentary series The Office, as well as for his multiple appearances on The Bill.

He began his television career in the late 1990s, appearing in two episodes of Silent Witness.

In a particularly dramatic EastEnders storyline, Beckett's Jake Moon character shot and killed his brother Danny Moon (played by Jake Maskall).

Born Joel Bygraves, he spent his youth in Potton, Bedfordshire, England.

He and Michael Madsen were both in the 2010 gangster movie The Big I Am.
