Multifaceted singer who gained fame as one of Brazil's top selling artists of all time. She is the second singer ever to earn a quintuple diamond certification. As a member of the Banda Calypso, she earned her third Latin Grammy nomination in 2010 for her work on the album 10 Anos.
She first became part of a band in 1994 when she joined Fazendo Arte. She founded Banda Calypso in 1999.
She has often been voted one of the sexiest women in Brazil by VIP Magazine. She has also been listed by Forbes as one of Brazil's top earning singers since 2011.
She is one of seven children. She has three kids.
She collaborated with Ivete Sangalo on her single "Amor Novo."
