ABOUT JOHN COMINSKY

Veteran NFL defensive end that was originally taken as a fourth-round pick in the 2019 Draft by the Atlanta Falcons . He was later acquired by the Detroit Lions via waivers in May 2022. He stands at 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 285 pounds.

He previously played college football at the University of Charleston. As a senior in 2018, he recorded 67 tackles and three sacks.

He made his official NFL debut while playing against the Philadelphia Eagles during week two of the 2019 regular season. He collected one tackle in a 24-20 Falcons victory.

He was born and raised in the Barberton, Ohio area.

He played alongside Quintez Cephus as a member of the Lions during the 2022 NFL season.
