ABOUT JOHN FULLER
British poet and novelist known for Stones and Fires, The Illusionist, The Burning Boys, and other works. Flying to Nowhere, his debut work of fiction, received both the Whitbread First Novel Award and a Booker Prize nomination.
He was born in Kent, England, and he studied at New College, Oxford.
He wrote several works for children, including The Spider Monkey Uncle King.
His father was Roy Fuller , a writer and literature professor at Oxford University.
He founded The Sycamore Press, which operated from 1968-1992 and published the works of W.H. Auden and other significant poets.
