ABOUT JOHN PAUL HAMMOND
Critically-acclaimed blues singer and guitarist who was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame.
He began playing guitar during his high school years and attended Antioch College only to drop out after one year to pursue his dream of playing music.
He became longtime friends with underground music legend Tom Waits .
His father is the record producer John H. Hammond.
In the 1960s he played at The Gaslight Cafe in New York City for five days with a band that included Jimi Hendrix .
