Singer and guitarist of band Nine Days. Their song "Absolutely (Story of a Girl)" made it to #1 on Billboard's Top 40 Mainstream in 2000.

The band's name was taken from a track he wrote and recorded with the band called "Nine Days of Rain."

He plays in the band John Hampson and the Dirty Poets. He also works as an English teacher in Wantagh, New York.

His decision to have a family brought him back to finish off the remaining credits he had left at community college.
