ABOUT JOHN SWIFT

Representative of the England national teams in consecutive years, playing on the Under-16 squad up to the Under-21 team. He began his senior career as a member of Chelsea.

He attended a community school in Gosport, Hampshire, England and played for his school's soccer team.

He was loaned by Chelsea to Rotherham United for a brief time before being loaned again by Chelsea to Swindon Town, with whom he scored his first professional goal.

He was born in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England.

He was a teammate of Chuba Akpom for the England U-20 national team.
