Johni Broome
ABOUT JOHNI BROOME
Former NCAA All-America that college basketball at Auburn University and Morehead State University from 2020 until 2025. During his last year of college, he was named the SEC Player of the Year. In 2025, he was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers as a second round draft pick.
He initially began his collegiate basketball career at Morehead State University. While there, he earned first team All-OVC honors twice.
He finished his college career with 156 blocks, which is the sixth most in Auburn program history. He's also Morehead State's all-time single season leader in blocked shots with 131.
Growing up, he lived with his parents and his two siblings. He is the youngest of three.
He credits James Harden as being one of his biggest basketball influences while coming up.
