ABOUT JOHNNY BRIGGS
Best known for portraying Mike Baldwin in British soap "Coronation Street," a role he played from 1976 to 2006.
As a young child, he sang soprano in a church choir.
In 2006, he was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the British Soap Awards.
He is the son of Ernest and Rose Briggs.
He appeared on "Coronation Street" with Barbara Knox .
