Artist who founded the Johny Dar lifestyle brand and expresses himself through a variety of mediums, including fashion, fine art, body art and music. His work has been featured in Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, The New York Times and more.

He moved from New York to Los Angeles to study fashion in 1997. He launched his first fashion label in 1999.

He launched the artistic collaboration Jeans for Refugees, created to assist refugees around the world, in 2016.

He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio.

As a fashion designer, he has dressed celebrities like Shakira and Nelly Furtado .
