ABOUT JON BEASON

NFL linebacker who was a three-time Pro Bowler for the Carolina Panthers from 2008 to 2010.

He played college football at the University of Miami in Florida.

After switching to inside linebacker in 2010 in place of an injured teammate, he signed a five-year, $50 million contract, the highest ever for a middle linebacker at the time.

He was born in Miramar, Florida.

He played alongside star defensive end Julius Peppers on the Panthers until 2009.
