ABOUT JONAS GARDELL
Swedish novelist and playwright who has gained fame in Scandinavia for his books and plays. Some of his most notable books include In Memory of an Unconditional Love and Don't Ever Wipe Tears Without Gloves. The latter was made into a three-part Swedish TV drama in 2012.
He released his first novel, The Passion Play, in 1985.
He received an honorary doctorate in theology from Lund University in 2007.
His brother, Mattias Gardell, is a famous scholar of religion. He has been married to Finnish journalist and television host Mark Levengood since 1995.
He is a famous Swedish author like Astrid Lindgren .
