ABOUT JONNY HAYES

Known for his soccer career as a winger throughout the United Kingdom. In 2012, he signed with the Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen.

He began his amateur soccer career in the Reading club's youth academy in 2003. He made his professional debut with Leicester City in 2007.

He earned his first senior team call-up for his home country of the Republic of Ireland on March 11, 2016. He signed a contract extension with Aberdeen in December 2014 that was set to last through 2018.

He was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland.

He has played alongside fellow winger Niall McGinn as a member of the Aberdeen football club.
