Singer and composer of traditional Venezuelan music known for his hit songs."Los Días Amargos", "Enguayabao Y Pal Pueblo", and "Aguacero Del Recuerdo." He also has a large social media following on Instagram with over 700,000 followers on his elguerrerojorge account.

In 1989 he began his professional career performing locally. In 1992 his first album Sensational was released.

He is also known as "The Warrior of Folklore." He never attended school formally and instead became a self-taught musician having learned to play from observation and trial and error.

He was born in the countryside of Venezuela to parents Eduardo Guerrero and Carmen Castorila Sánchez de Guerrero. After his mother died he was raised by a cousin of his father, Vilma Guerrero de Figueredo. He is the brother of the deceased singer Elisa Guerrero.

His work is similar to Vitico Castillo 's work.
