Mexican singer-songwriter best known as a member of the group Río Roma with his brother, Raul . Known for their romantic ballads, they have released several successful albums and their work has been featured in numerous television shows.

Interested in music from an early age, he moved to Mexico City and eventually trained in composition under Leonel Garcia . He was also a member of the boy band Ciao Mama from 1997 to 2002.

A prolific songwriter, he has penned songs for Maria Jose , Alejandra Guzman , and Alejandro Fernández .

He and his brother were born in Tulancingo, Hidalgo to José and Maria Ortega.
