ABOUT JOSE JAMES
Singer known for his jazz and hip-hop fusion music. His albums include Blackmagic and No Beginning No End.
He trained at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City. He released his first album, The Dreamer, in 2008.
His musical collaboration with Jef Neve produced a 2010 album, For All We Know, that won the prestigious L’Academie du Jazz Grand Prix.
He grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota and later settled in New York City.
He collaborated with jazz drummer Chico Hamilton on a 2009 album entitled Twelve Tones of Love.
