ABOUT JOSELYN RIVERA

Singer who rapidly rose to fame on the third season of The Voice, competing on teams Christina and Adam .

Incredibly shy as a child, she was referred to a music therapist who helped break her out of her shell through music and singing.

At age fourteen, she was signed by Grammy winning producer Emilio Estefan .

She was born and raised in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Her mother opened a music and performance academy in South Florida.

In season three of the Voice, she competed against eventual winner Cassadee Pope .
