He grew up experiencing bullying and enjoying arcade games at Dave and Buster's. Both experiences would later shape his public achievements. He studied philosophy at the University of Western Ontario.

In the year 2017, he earned the title of Guinness World Record holder for the longest line of arcade tickets. He used about 350,000 Dave and Buster's redemption tickets to achieve the record.
