He had 42 receptions and 837 yards his senior season at Copperas High School.

He ended his career at Texas Christian as the all-time leader in touchdown catches and second in receiving yards.

His parents are Travis and Jacqueline Boyce.

He was high school teammates with Robert Griffin III .
