ABOUT JOSH CAVALLO

Professional left back that was signed by the Adelaide United football club in February 2021. He has also made appearances as a member of the Australian national team. On October 27, 2021 he made global headlines after becoming the first top-level football league soccer player to announce that he is gay.

He began his youth soccer career playing for the Melbourne Victory Youth Football Club.

After a promising 2020-2021 soccer season, he was given Adelaide United's A-League Rising Star award.

He is from Bentleigh East, Victoria.

He played alongside Besart Berisha as a member of the Western United football club.
