ABOUT JOSHUA EPSTEIN
Singer and producer whose band JR JR broke out in 2010 with the release of the EP's Horsepower and My Love Is Easy: Remixes Pt.1. He is also known for being a member of the Detroit-based music collective Goldenboyz.
He and JR JR's Daniel Zott recorded the band's first demos in Zott's basement in Royal Oak, Michigan.
He changed his band's name from Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. to JR JR in 2015. The change was made due to confusion experienced by NASCAR fans who came to their shows expecting to see race car driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.
He grew up in Detroit, Michigan.
JR JR's first EP contains a cover of The Beach Boys' "God Only Knows," written by Brian Wilson .
