Though his YouTube channel was created in 2015, he didn't begin creating videos consistently until January 2017.

He has an online shop, Jounes Merch, where he has sold branded merchandise like t-shirts and sweatshirts. Some of his most popular prank videos have garnered more than 1 million views each.

His younger sister, older brother, and father have all been the victims of pranks on his YouTube videos. He is married to Mariam Alk . In August 2025, they welcomed their daughter.
