ABOUT JOY ANG

Illustrator and animator best known for her work as a character designer for the immensely popular Cartoon Network series Adventure Time. She has also done art for a number of children's books, working with publishers like Scholastic, Random House, and Bloomsbury.

After earning her Bachelor of Design from Alberta College of Art & Design in 2007, she began her professional career working with Udon Comics and BioWare.

She helped create the dual volume comic art book The Anthology Project alongside two fellow artist friends.

Originally from Calgary, she later lived in Edmonton and Seattle, Washington.

Both she and Steven Universe creator Rebecca Sugar worked on the Cartoon Network series Adventure Time.
