ABOUT JOY THE BAKER
Professional baker turned food photographer who created the blog Joy the Baker. She has collaborated and been featured in publications such as Refinery29, The Kitchn, Cupcakes and Cashmere and Buzzfeed. She also authored her own Joy the Baker Cookbook.
She started her blog in January 2008 due to her obsession with brownies and cake.
She was named Best Baking Blog by Saver Magazine and one of the 50 Best Food Blogs by The London Times.
She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She grew up in the kitchen with both her father and mother loving to cook.
She and Erin Aschow are both successful bakers who created their own food blogs.
