He debuted professionally for Nueva Cadiz in 1996.
He scored 16 goals in 52 matches from 2002 to 2003.
He was born in Maracay, Venezuela.
He and fellow midfielder Luis Vera were teammates on the Venezuelan national team from 1999 to 2007.
