Judith Thompson

ABOUT JUDITH THOMPSON

Playwright known most for her 1984 production, White Biting Dog. She also wrote Lion in the Streets in 1990.

She studied acting at the National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal.

She worked as an actor for a full year before defaulting to writing, her true passion.

Her father, W. R. Thompson, was the psychology department head at Queen's University.

She and Jose Calderon are Canada-born members of the entertainment industry.
