ABOUT JULIAN RYERSON

Professional center-back that was originally signed by the Norwegian Viking Fotballklubb in 2015. He was then signed by the Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund in January 2023. He has also played for the Norwegian men's national team during his professional career.

As a child, he played with the Lyngdal IL youth club up until 2013. He then played with the Viking Fotballklubb's youth squad for two years.

He made his official international team debut while playing against Austria on November 18, 2020. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

He was born and raised living with his family in Lyngdal, Norway. He was born of Norwegian and American descent.

He played alongside Rani Khedira as a member of 1. FC Union Berlin during the 2022 Bundesliga season.
