ABOUT KANAE ITO

Known best for portraying the character of Amu Hinamori in the critically acclaimed anime series Shugo Chara!, this Japanese voice actress also contributed to such animated shows as Mayoi Neko Overrun! and Queen's Blade.

She trained as a voice actress at Japan's Amusement Media Academy and subsequently signed with the Aoni Production talent agency.

She earned a Seiyu Award nomination in the category of "Best Rookie Voice Actress."

She was born and raised in Japan's Nagano Prefecture.

She and her friend and fellow anime voice artist, Aki Toyosaki , co-hosted a web-based radio program called Radio no Railgun.
