ABOUT KAREN MCCOMBIE
A Scottish writer of young adult novels and children's literature, she is best known for her Ally's World, Indie Kidd, and Sadie Rocks series. Her stand-alone works include The Seventeen Secrets of the Karma Club and In Sarah's Shadow.
She worked as a journalist for the teen magazine, Just 17, before beginning her career as a children's author.
Her Stella etc. series includes such titles as Sweet-Talking TJ and Truly, Madly Megan.
She settled in London with her husband, Tom, and her daughter, Milly.
She and Peter Pan author, J.M. Barrie, were both born in Scotland.
