Stage and screen actor known for originating the role of Vanessa in the Lin-Manuel Miranda musical In the Heights . They also played the role of Anita in the 2009 Broadway revival of West Side Story. Their performance earned them a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.

They attended the University of Cincinnati - College-Conservatory of Music.

They appeared on such television shows as Law & Order, The Good Wife, and Harry's Law.

They married Matt Caplan in 2006.

They appeared with Josh Charles on The Good Wife.
