ABOUT KAREN ROBINSON

British-Canadian film, television and stage actress. She is best known for her role as Ronnie Lee in Schitt's Creek . She has also appeared in the TV series Mary Kills People, the 2002 film Narc, and the 2007 film Lars and the Real Girl .

As a child, she sang in choirs, acted in school plays and participated in poetry readings. She studied communication and theatre at Mount Royal College in Calgary. She made her film debut in the 1994 film Stalked.

She has a reoccurring role in the Hallmark Movie & Mystery Channel's series Morning Show Mysteries. She has originated multiple roles in stage shows, including the characterization of the Portuguese slave Marie-Joseph Angélique in the play Angélique by Lorena Gale.

She was born in London and raised in Jamaica until moving to Canada with her family as a teenager. In March 2020, she revealed her cousin and cousin's husband had both died of COVID-19.

She appeared in Schitt's Creek alongside Catherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy .
