ABOUT KAROLINE EICHHORN

Actress who has won awards for her work in several films, including The Sandman (1995), Gegen Ende der Nacht (1998) and A Map of the Heart (2002). She is also known by many for her role as Charlotte Doppler on the German Netflix series Dark .

She attended the Folkwang theater school in Essen, Germany in the late 80s. She began performing in plays in Berlin shortly thereafter.

Her performance in Dark earned her a Golden Camera Award nomination for Best Actress.

She married author Arne Nielsen, with whom she has a daughter named Jule.

She co-starred with Ulrich Thomsen in the crime thriller The Silence (2010).
